MIRI, 22 Jun – Festival Belia Bandar Raya Miri (MCYF) kembali untuk edisi ketujuh, berlangsung dari 24 hingga 29 Jun di Pantai Luak Esplanade.

Sebanyak 36 acara bakal dianjurkan berbanding 24 sebelum ini, dengan tema “Magnificent of Seven”, merangkumi sukan air, sukan pantai, ceramah kepimpinan, persembahan pentas dan pelbagai lagi.

Pengerusi Persatuan Belia Miri (PBM), Matassan Rohani, berkata festival ini dijangka menarik 3,000 peserta dan lebih 45,000 pengunjung, sekali gus memberi impak besar kepada ekonomi tempatan.

Program ini turut mendapat sokongan Kementerian Belia, Sukan dan Pembangunan Usahawan Sarawak (MYSED) serta NGO tempatan, Majlis perasmian dijadual disempurnakan Datuk Rosey Yunus pada 28 Jun.
