In honour of World Turtle Day, we reflect on the ongoing efforts to protect the marine life that surrounds Pangkor Laut Resort.

The Nature Conservation Centre, an initiative by YTL Hotels, is dedicated to safeguarding these waters — led by Justin Juhun, Director of Conservation and a team of conservationists committed to the care and recovery of vulnerable species. Three Hawksbill sea turtles were nursed back to health before being returned to the sea.

“We are always looking out for marine animals that need our medical help,” shares Justin — a reminder that conservation is not a moment, but a continued responsibility.
