Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, marketing and self-service laundry.
Lead and supervise a team: 1 Front Desk Supervisor, 1 - 2 Front Desk Executive/s, and 2 Housekeeping Staffs.
Ensure top-notch guest service, always with a smile!
Drive occupancy and revenue growth through effective marketing strategies.
Maintain hotel standards and ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and warmth.
Manage budgets, staff scheduling, and operational efficiency.
Monitor and strategize rates and availability for OTA (Online Travel Agencies) to maximize revenue.
Who We’re Looking For:
A people person with outstanding interpersonal and public relations skills.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small team.
Experience in front desk operations, housekeeping, and hotel marketing.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Description: Mulyo Hotel Manager
Position: Hotel Manager
Location: Mulyo Hotel, Teluk Kemang, Port Dickson
Reports To: Hotel Owner / Director
Role Summary: The Hotel Manager is responsible for the overall management of Mulyo Hotel’s daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the front desk, housekeeping, and marketing. The primary focus is on delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving occupancy, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Relations & Service Excellence
Be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm, friendly atmosphere for all guests.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the experience.
Train staff to provide personalized service, including greeting guests by name.
2. Staff Leadership & Operations Management
Supervise and coordinate the work of 1 Front Desk Supervisor, 1 - 2 Front Desk Executive/s, and 2 Housekeeping Staffs.
Conduct regular team meetings and training to maintain high service standards.
Manage staff scheduling to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Lead by example—always smiling, positive, and approachable.
3. Sales, Marketing & Revenue Management
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase weekday bookings.
Build relationships with government agencies and corporate clients for group bookings.
Oversee online and offline promotions, ensuring strong hotel visibility.
Monitor booking platforms (OTA, direct bookings) and optimize pricing and availability strategies to maximise direct bookings.
4. Housekeeping & Maintenance Oversight
Ensure all rooms and public areas meet high cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Work closely with housekeeping staff to uphold efficiency and hygiene.
Address maintenance issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Oversee procurement and inventory management for hotel supplies.
5. Planning & Reporting
Annual budget planning and revenue targets.
Prepare monthly reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational performance.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel management or related hospitality roles.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a small team.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and public relations abilities.
Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented work approach.
Experience in hotel marketing and guest experience enhancement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management software is an advantage.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
