WHY DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE MEDIA?
The media content of your filter represents its filtration capacity. After some time, various impurities
are trapped on or inside the media which results in less filtration efficiency.
It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to replace new filter media every three years to ensure it can be
used to its full potential such as removing sediments, clearing of an odour, cloudy water, etc.
New media:
💧 Will give better water quality.
💧 Save more water during backwash.
💧 Has high porosity.
EFFECT OF NOT CHANGING MEDIA:
💧Bacteria will colonize the media.
💧 Debris or suspended solids will clog it.
💧Media saturates with impurities.
💧 Risk of impurities leaching back into the filtered water.
