By boat (max.12 pax), depart from Sandakan Yacht Club Jetty to KWR in Abai, Kinabatangan and need 1.5 hours boat rides....

What a stunning sighting! A female Bornean Crested Fireback (a master of camouflage!) foraging near the resort, perfectly blending into the forest floor. Her earthy brown plumage and subtle crest help her disappear, making these forest dwellers masters of disguise, truly a rare and beautiful glimpse into Borneo's rich biodiversity.
