🌿✨ Our residents took a well-deserved break 🧘‍♀️💆‍♂️ to focus on their well-being at the Pause & Recharge: Building Your Self-Care Toolkit workshop 💚 held last Tuesday, at the Waterfront Residence 🏡. Facilitated by Ms. Kerk Qian Wei 👩‍🏫, Registered Counsellor at Student Life and Master of Counselling student from Sunway University 🎓, the session guided participants through practical self-care strategies 💭📝 to manage stress 😌 and maintain emotional balance 💖. The cozy and supportive atmosphere 🕯️🌸 allowed residents to reflect 💬, connect 🤝, and unwind 🫖 while enjoying a free dinner 🍱🥗 and receiving a landscape sticker set 🌄🎁 as a token of appreciation. ✨ The Confidence Inside Out: Self-Belief and Executive Presence Workshop last Saturday at Waterfront Residence empowered residents to boost their 💪 confidence, 🗣️ communication, and 🌟 personal presence. Led by Dr. Catherine Lai Hui Yi (MsKateLai)- 🎓 PhD alumna, 👑 Miss UniWorld Malaysia 2023, and 🌺 Top 8 Miss Universe Malaysia 2022, participants gained insights on projecting confidence through 💬 speech, 🤝 behaviour, and 🧠 mindset. ✨ We had our Residence Wellness Day last Wed which filled with energy, learning, and pawitivity! ✨ Students enjoyed engaging booths from various agencies, gaining insights on mental health, safety, and overall well-being 💪🧠. The highlight of the night was the powerful sharing session “From Chains to Freedom” by Mr. Ignatius Wong, whose inspiring journey of transformation moved many hearts 💖🙌. Adding even more excitement to the event, the K9 unit 🐾🐶 wowed the crowd with an impressive performance that everyone absolutely loved! 🎉🎶 With free popcorn 🍿, cotton candy 🍭, dinner 🍽️ and plenty of smiles all around 😄, it was truly a night to remember- Be Well. Be Safe. Belong! 💙
