*Reopening of traffic on the N1 road, Baixa de Nguluzane, Xai-Xai city, Gaza province*

The National Roads Administration, ANE, IP, informs motorists and the general public that *traffic for all types of vehicles will be reopened tomorrow, February 6th, at 10:00 AM, and in a CONDITIONAL MANNER, on the N1 road, in Baixa de Nguluzane, Xai-Xai city, Gaza province*.

The reopening of vehicle traffic at this point on the N1 road *will allow land connection between Maputo – Xai-Xai and the rest of the country*.

The ANE, IP, appeals to all drivers to:

1. Avoid night driving;

2. Respect the signage placed along the stretch;

3. Avoid speeding, respecting the 30 km/h limit during this phase where damage assessment work is being carried out on the road surface.

ANE, IP, also informs that, even after the reopening of traffic, road improvement work will continue, which means that the circulation of machinery and other construction equipment will continue, and, *if justified, traffic may be temporarily interrupted* to allow for damage repairs.

ANE, IP appeals for everyone's cooperation and greater caution while driving, at a time when traffic is restricted due to ongoing work on the ground, especially on the following sections: N1: Baixa de Nguluzane, in the city of Xai-Xai; N1: 3 de fevereiro/Incoluana and N220: Chissano/Chibuto.
