We are priveleged to be able to experience the incredible annual migration of humpack whales which comes right past our doorstep. Sitting on your deck and watching these magnificent creatures expressing joy cannot be described.

We have the most incredible guest who has chosen to "lockdown" at Xirundu. Stella Mendonça - a renowned Mozambican operatic soprano, who trained and performed with the best in Europe, collaboratively produced an African-adapted version of Carmen which she also performed in, in Mozambique, and founded SONÇA Interntaional to promote arts in Africa; an incredible teacher at the Studio Di Belcanto in Switzerland for nearly 30 years and now running the Observatory in Mozambique - is resident in our very own Casa Monika and has blown us away with a performance on our viewing deck.
