Mozambique style – Comfortably Rustic Self-Catering Accommodation, nestled between sand dunes and surrounded by shady coconut palms, within walking distance to the pristine Barra beach stretch, only 270m away.
Come and relax with us at Nao Faz Mal, away from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. We have 4 unique Casitas (Cottages) to choose from, with a maximum capacity of 18 guests at a time, tucked away at Praia da Barra, in the Inhambane district of Mozambique. Our Comfortably Rustic Self-Catering Casitas are traditionally built using the local flora; palm leaves, reed, timber, and thatch, making them a perfect complement to the surrounds, with the most amazing detail all around. You will meet our local neighbours that make a living selling their goods and will gladly bring you fruit and Portuguese pão (bread) or a fresh catch of the day if you like?
Barra has everything you will need; from an endless beach with a warm, calm, clear sea and hot balmy days, to all sorts of entertainment and activities, as well as, fresh produce stalls, colourful craft markets and a few small trading stores, all offering a variety of goods and memorabilia… not forgetting the local beers that are highly recommended!
Tofinho, a well known surf spot, and our neighboring town; Tofo is 10km away.
Fly in: Inhambane Airport - 27km away, organise an airport collection or drop off with us.
Drive in: Vehicle access to get right up to your Casita = 4x4 / diff-lock, because of the thick sand on our property, other than that there are tar and compacted sand roads.
