Ondas de Mar Lodge is situated in the picturesque province of Inhambane with its coconut tree lined beaches and friendly people, just 485km north of Maputo.

Coordinates: -23.794256, 35.530301 Ondas de Mar offers breath-taking, self-catering holiday accommodation. Each unit is luxuriously serviced, self catering accommodation with a 180° sea view. There are four dive operations within a 4km radius, and other activities including water-skiing, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, quad biking and horse riding.The area also offers an abundance of sight-seeing, bars and restaurants.

If anyone you know is still looking for December 2025 accomodation please let them get hold of us .

The all new and rebuilt Whaleshark! This used to be a 5 sleeper , but is now a 12 sleeper ! Accommodating 2 couples in 2 bedrooms each with their own queen size bed , then 2 rooms with 2 bunkbeds in each room , thus Accommodating 4 people in each room .
Spacious fully equipped kitchen , 2 bathrooms with showers , beautiful varanda and private braai area and its own splash pool ! Plus we have FREE WI-FI (STARLINK) . Ondas de mar is situated in Inhambane barra beach , reachable via 4x4 or 2x4 bakkies just need to deflate tyre pressure. Parking available for boats also !
50 % deposit secures booking , balance to be paid 30 days before arrival date . If any of you know or have been at Ondas de mar lodge you will remember Whaleshark , its just bigger and better matching what all our other houses look like .

Good morning to all ! Have availability in December 2023 in House Blue Whale which sleeps 8 , has own private splash pool , self catering, serviced daily , own outside braai area with veranda , beautiful 180° view over the whole bay 2min walk to beach. Available from 7th December 2023 to 19th December 2023 or any dates in-between !

Ondas de mar lodge is situated in the picturesque province of Inhambane in barra beach approximately 480km from Maputo, situated on a sand dune with a fantastic 180° view of the whole bay , we have 4 x 8 sleeper houses each with their very own private splash pool or whirlpool bath! And 1 x 5 sleeper house .
You will need a 4x4 or 2x4 bakkie with deflated tyres or using diff-lock to get to us , plenty parking for your trailer and boat too.

Well Ondas de mar would like to treat you at our little piece of paradise situated in the picturesque province of Inhambane. With the most amazing 180° sea view we have 5 self catering houses available each with their own splash pool or whirlpool bath with nearby dive centres, fishing, snorkeling, quad biking , trips to pansy island, great restaurants and pubs and so much more to choose from in and around us ! Let our friendly staff arrange to have the locals bring you fresh fish, crayfish, prawns, fruits and fresh bread on a daily basis.
We have lots of space to park your boats and trailers you would essentially need a 4x4 to get to us but if you have a 2x4 bakkie and deflate your tyre pressure to .900 or 1 bar you WILL be able to get to our amazing lodge.
