Palm View consists of 2 Self Catering Units. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, sleeping 8 in each unit. Stunning views close to beach.

Palm View Lodge is a self catering lodge situated at Barra Beach, Inhambane, Mozambique. The lodge is built on the side of a west facing dune, overlooking the estuary with a view of the sea to the north. As the sun sets, the view is one of the best Barra Beach has to offer. Palm View lodge is a mere 750 metres away from the nearest beach. Accommodation

The lodge compromises of 2 Timber houses eac

h with 3 bedrooms and capable of sleeping 8 persons. Each unit sleeps 6 privately and additional 2 on comfortable couches/beds situated in the main living area. The main bedroom has an en-suite bath, shower, basin and toilet. A second bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet and is shared with the remaining two bedrooms. The main living area leads onto a deck where one can sit back, relax and take in the sunset sipping on a drink after a day at the beach. An open plan spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything that one will need. All bedrooms are equipped with fans. Mosquito nets are available for all beds, with linen and bath towels supplied. Guests are only required to bring their own beach towels and food. Due to the risk of fire, no open fires are allowed. A gas braai is, however, available for use by guests during their stay. Units are serviced daily between 08h00 and 16h00, with the exception of Sundays. Any extra requests such as washing and ironing can be arranged at an additional cost. A borehole supplies drinkable water and each house has a municipal electrical connection. Aquaholics Barra is just 1km down the road, where one will be able to dive, visit Pansy Island and view Sea Horses, or simply go on an Ocean Safari in search of Dolphin and Whale Shark. In season the Hump Back Whales are a plenty in the Barra area. Kayaks are also available for hire from Aquaholics. All guests staying at Palmview automatically qualify for discounts and have access to the Aquaholics pool. We will gladly make all arrangements for guests. Barra has a number of restaurants and bars all of which provide affordable great meals. Catered packages can be arranged upon request – all you have to do is get to the restaurant. Various other entertainment facilities for both children and adults are all within walking distance. The lodge is accessible by normal vehicle.
