Critters of the Night in Mozambique 🌃🦇🕷️🦂

As the sun sets over Mozambique, the nightlife comes alive! 🌅

We've had some fascinating sightings of critters that come out after dark:

Spider 1: Yellow Sac Spider 🕷️

- They're nocturnal, so you might spot them at night 🌃
- They like to hang out in corners, windows, and doors 🚪
- They might bite if threatened, but their venom isn't life-threatening 💉
- They're generally harmless, but it's still best to exercise caution 😬

Spider 2: False Wolf Spider (Mediterranean Spider) 🕷️

- They're often mistaken for wolf spiders, but are actually a different species 🤔
- They're active hunters and don't use webs to catch prey 🕸️
- They're generally harmless to humans and don't bite unless provoked 🙅‍♂️
- They're common in gardens, homes, and other urban areas 🏠

Mozambique Thicktail Scorpion 🦂

- Found throughout Mozambique, including urban areas 📍
- Nocturnal, so be careful when walking around at night 🌃
- Their venom is highly toxic and can cause severe pain, swelling, and other systemic symptoms 🚨
- Exercise extreme caution and seek medical attention immediately if stung! 🚑

No need to panic, but it's always good to know what's crawling around! 🕷️🦂

A good way to make sure you stay safe is by ensuring you always have enough light when walking around at night. 🔦
