Behold the mighty Starfish!
This amazing creature accesses its food by using its hundreds of tiny tube feet to pull apart muscle and clam. It opens the shell just 1-2 millimeters and then pushes its stomach out, digests the food right inside the shell, then reels the stomach back in. Truth is stranger than fiction!

Out and about exploring the incredible coral reefs at low tide is a firm favourite for our guests at Situ Island. That and of course the stunning accommodation, the magnificent sundowners, the to-die-for snorkeling and diving, the adventure of the big catch fishing and so much more. We still have accommodation available in December, so why not just take that island holiday - you know you deserve it.
