Our chalets and camping are now fully booked for Christmas and New Years. We hope all our guests are looking forward to their stay with us. We know things have been a bit unsettling with the situation in Mozambique but they will settle and will not affect your stay with us.

If you would like to book your stay at Macachula and you have kids then there is Easter or June/July holiday which are a fantastic time to visit. And if you don't have kids that need to be at school then anytime, we are always happy to host. Email [email protected]

We are deeply saddened to announce that the Grandfather of Macachula Beach Camp, Eric Matsinhe, has passed away peacefully.
Eric shall be fondly remembered for his infectious chuckle and endearing smile, always close at hand during night watch duties and ever present during the day to assist guests with guided tours through the mangroves, fishing tips, the making of bows and arrows for countless children or to converse with you in funakalo.
Our deepest condolences to Martin and family.
Rest in peace Eric.
