Sublime Sava Dunes in Mozambique

Sava Dunes is enviably located in a remote part of the Mozambican coastline. Cocooned between Barra and Tofo, and enveloped by sugar-white beach sand dunes, Sava Dunes certainly sets the standard in terms of location. A winding wooden path leads down to the beach front which has a surfable wave and in season is home to whale-sharks and humpback whales. Sava is the ultimate in eco luxury (solar powered beach lodge) and offers guests a completely off-the-grid beach experience. The neighbouring estuary is great for snorkelling and dive activities can be arranged while at the lodge. The location is so remote and hidden tucked away that self-drive is not advisable.
