Even after 19 years, we still find so much beauty in the dhows* around us ⛵️✨

Living here, in the heart of the fishing village, we still find ourselves pausing every day to admire them.

Is it their vibrant, weathered colors?
The creative names fishermen sometimes choose for them?
The elegance of their sails or the quiet grace with which they glide through the water?

There is something poetic about them. They are more than just boats. They are the soul of this place, the livelihood of our neighbors, and the very life of Vilanculos.

Actually, that’s it… as simple and as vital as that. 🌊🐚

Casa Babi is an intimate boutique guest house located at the heart of Vilanculos fishing village. Only 4 bedrooms overlooking the bay, each with a spacious veranda where to unwind after a day in the sun and from where you’ll enjoy watching the activity of fishermen coming and going with the tide.
