Sunset Activity and Dune dinner option

The activity starts 1.5 hours before sunset. The Kalahari farm with red sand dunes is 4 kilometers from the hotel. The drive is scenic around the farm for guests to marvel at the Kalahari landscape. Guests will reach the sunset spot 30 minutes before sunset to enjoy a cold beverage and some snacks with the opportunity to take photos. The sunsets at around 19h00 in Summer and 17h30 in Winter. Once the sun has set, guests are transferred back to the hotel to freshen up and enjoy dinner shortly after 20h00. hotel for dinner just after 20h00. Each guest is provided with a bottle of water during the drive. The dune dinner is combined with a short scenic drive to the spot where the dinner will be hosted. The setup is done before guests arrive; one welcome drink per guest is included; additional beverages can be ordered from the mobile Bar on site. Each guests will have a bar tab on their room number. The dinner consists of a 3-course meal and is prepared on the open fire with a variety of meats and side dishes. Special dietary requirements must be provided 30 days before guests arrive. The vehicle used for the activity is a vintage Land Rover truck that can take up to 17 guests. If the group is larger, additional vehicles with seats on the back will be provided to assist with the transfer. Children are welcome on the activity while under their parent’s supervision – Kids up to 11 years only pay half price for their meal.
