Sandhof received enough rain the past week for the lilies to bloom.

Please take note.

Gates will open Friday 03.04.2026 - Sunday 05.04.2026 from 07:00 to 19:00 (till further notice)

Entrance N$ 50.00 pp

Campers and Camping will be allowed if you are fully equipped @ N$ 100.00pp

Directions: From Maltahohe take the D861 for 39km to Sandhof

Do Not ‼️‼️

- Damage or pick any flowers
- Drive in the pan
- Litter or leave anything behind

Important ‼️

- Sunblock - Hat
- Mosquito repellent
- Camera
- Own food and drinks

Drive safe and take it easy on the gravel road from Maltahohe to Sandhof.

Exciting news on a short notice ‼️‼️

Sandhof received some rain the past 4 days,we were not sure if the flowers would be enough to open for visitors but was surprised this morning.

Important Notice‼️‼️

Only half the pan of approximately 1.2 km × 1 km is blooming on the northen side. This means if we do receive more rain, the southern part will bloom.

A daily update will be shared to keep everyone updated, so please follow the Sandof page updates.

Gates are opening tomorrow 10 Feb 2025 @ 07H00, and the 1st half of blooming is estimated to last till Friday next week, depending on if more rain will follow.

Apologies for the short notice but as usual the lillies are unpredictable.
