🇬🇧 The final stop of our accommodation week. Today: luxury.
Etosha Oberland Lodge sits on a 5,000-hectare private game reserve sharing a 10 km border with Etosha National Park. Just 10 km from Anderson Gate. Those staying here are among the first through the park gates the following morning.
🛖 20 tented chalets, each 75 m², spread far apart across the mopane savannah. You won't see or hear your nearest neighbours. Indoor and outdoor shower, private shaded terrace, minibar, air conditioning, all solar powered.
♾️ The infinity pool overlooks the open plain and the lodge's two waterholes. Zebras in the morning, kudu in the evening. The restaurant offers the same view.
🦏 The private reserve is home to white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, kudus and numerous antelope species. Guided game drives into Etosha, bush walks on the reserve, birding with over 300 species recorded in the park.
Etosha Oberland isn't a stopover. It's a reason to stay longer.

Die Etosha Oberland Lodge liegt auf einem 5.000 Hektar großen privaten Wildreservat, das eine 10 km lange Grenze mit dem Etosha-Nationalpark teilt. 10 km vom Andersongate entfernt. Wer hier übernachtet, ist am nächsten Morgen als einer der ersten im Park.
🛖 20 Zeltchalets, je 75 m² groß, weit voneinander entfernt in der Mopane-Savanne verteilt. Vom Nachbarchalet hört und sieht man nichts. Innen und Außendusche, private beschattete Terrasse, Minibar, Klimaanlage, alles solargestützt.
♾️ Der Infinity Pool liegt mit weitem Blick über die offene Ebene auf die zwei Wasserlöcher der Lodge. Zebras am Morgen, Kudu am Abend. Das Restaurant bietet denselben Blick.
🦏 Das private Reservat beherbergt Weiße Nashörner, Giraffen, Zebras, Kudus und zahlreiche Antilopen. Geführte Pirschfahrten in den Etosha, Bush Walks auf dem Reservat, Vogelbeobachtung mit über 300 Arten im Park.
Etosha Oberland ist kein Durchgangsquartier. Es ist ein Grund, länger zu bleiben.
