Uis Elephant Guesthouse is situated in the heart of Uis, the old mining settlement at the foot of the famous Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain.
Our brand new guesthouse offers 4 standard and 5 luxury rooms, as well as 3 double-storey suites for guests wanting to indulge in a comfortable stay-over close to Brandberg. All of our rooms are equipped with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, a coffee & tea station, and a minibar (suites only). Their interior design boasts of a rustic farmers flair with a modern and clean touch. Using cool colours of turquoise and white combined with wood and metal works for lamps, beds, and headboards.
We are a bed & breakfast, offering more than usual by providing guests with a delicious breakfast buffet, dinner (on request) serving homemade African cuisine and facilities ranging from laundry services to “anything else that guests might ask for“. This includes a free airstrip shuttle service and wheelchair-friendly accommodation.
Uis Elephant Guesthouse and its surroundings invite you to explore the beautiful nature. We offer full-day Brandberg excursions, game drives down the river bed to find the elusive desert-adapted elephants roaming freely in this stunning area, sundowner drives, and for the more active traveller guided e-Mountain biking excursions, as well as 2 to 3 day Brandberg Hiking Packages all the way to the top of Namibia’s highest mountain.
