The Tourism Nigeria Adventure tagged TOURNA as the Name implies is a Tourism Voyage and expedition conceptualized to discover and showcase the Natural sites that abound and surplus in the country, Nigeria waiting to be discovered and explored. Nigeria is a land of countless Tourist sites which optimistically is capable of attracting people from all over the world, and there is and
has not been a major market and channel to sell this product as it were to the world, hence this project. TOURNA is an instrument/platform designed to display; showcase and market to the world the Cultural, Traditional, Creativity and the Natural tourism sites endowed the Nation with by God. It is a social meeting point for the world to see, discover, invest and “buy’ Nigeria. The adventure shall help us unite and converge the world here in Nigeria and cruise it! It is an excursion, sightseeing, leisure, pleasure and camping voyage. Aims of the Adventure
TOURNA is aimed at bridging a gap between Nature, Culture, Fun and Entrainment and by extension Personal/group Development, Relaxation, Education amongst others since travel is part of education and exposure. It is also aimed at adding glitz and glamor to the tourist sites in Nigeria and creating a channel market for investment. The aim of the Adventure is also fashioned towards the discovery, Promulgation, Propagation, Exploration and Promotion of the Natural contents/Sites, Tourism Creativity and Traditional cultural heritage of the Nigerian States. It is an avenue for Nigeria, The Tourists, Stakeholders and the world at large to come together to acknowledge and promote the best of natural endowment. It is designed to Showcase, Project and Promote the Sights and Sounds, Cultural contents and Creative ingenuity of Nigeria(ns) serving not only as a Cultural meeting point for a Tourism chatter but a forum for interaction and exchange of Values and ideals between the Participants, Nigeria and their individual/respective countries. The Location camp activities are educative, fun, Mind cracking, Inspiring and Indulging and shall include Games, Competition, Trade/skills learning, swimming training, etc. Benefits to the Adventurists
The Adventure shall give Tourists immense opportunity to learn the history and Culture of the host communities and the sites we shall tour, give them the experience of living in such remote communities, offer them knowledge of recording Migration paths, present them avenues to relax and enjoy some snorkeling apart from the sites and sounds of both nature and the people, learning of mountain climbing skills plus other skills and experiences, give them jotter to make new/meet old friends and contacts in addition to expanding their minds through the travels amongst many unnamed benefits. We have discovered, listed, Documented and have outlined all the sites both major and non which would be destinations for the adventure. The Tourists sites/destinations cut across the 36 states of the Nigerian Federation including FCT. There is no discrimination to entry and participation; Participants are expected to come from all works of life, country or Continent. We are also optimistic that Government Agencies, Embassies/Consulates, Oil Company, Banks, Multi Nationals etc will sponsor participants to the Tour too. It is open to all ages, all people! Durations:
Due to the countless sites that abound in the Nation, the adventure is going to last for Three to five Weeks. Accommodations/Welfare:
Many of the sites demand that we camp in the locations while others in the surrounding hotels in the host site. Like we have strategized, the sites where we are going to camp we shall erect reasonable/Executive tents for the Tourists to sleep in. The tents/camps are going to have water supplied, 24/7 light, etc. Sites/Tour guards:
The Official-guest “Tour Guides” of the voyage are beautiful, elegant and prolific Nollywood Star Actor, Stella Damasus Aboderim and Talented MTN’s who wants to be a Millionaire show presenter, Frank Idogho; shall take us round and about the sites; she shall also narrate and educate the tourists on the essence of visiting such sites. The guards shall and must have had prior knowledge, information and Education about the respective sites. They are trained on how to deal with people, shall possess courtesy and the calm spirit of mind to teach and explain vividly to the tourists in details and clarity any Question that may arise plus more. Medical units:
Apart from First Aid Units, there shall be specialist Medical team throughout the Tour Period in case of emergency which we pray does not happen. Safety is also priority one at TOURNA,
Our Medical Partners apart from the Red Cross are Durose Pharmacy for Drugs and Rosé vine Hospitals. Security:
There shall be 24/7 security throughout the tour season, they shall include Mobile Police men, Vigilantes and Private Location Scouts, Where and if necessary the Nigerian Army. Sponsors/Partners:
Our sponsors and partners are our financial encouragers drawn from all the sectors including Private, Corporate, Individual Sectors, Media Partners whose support and encouragement shall be inform of Advertizing/airing our adverts and transmitting the tours live. The crew shall be made up of apart from experts, shall include the Tent Builders, Location Scouts/Eranders
