Honestly speaking, Everybody looks okay until you have a deep conversation with them.
Then you realise that this is a generation of people struggling to survive through smiling faces and pretty pictures.

People are going through a lot in silence. Do not be swift to judge. Mind what you say to people. Show people more love and less hate.

Keep reaching out to people in the little way you can. A little word of advice, love, encouragement and support will go a long way.

If you cannot be of help, please leave people as they are, do not worsen their situation.

May God help us all and happy new month

FELICITATIONS @ 38 YEARS AND APPEAL FOR SUPPORTS

Dear Governor,

On behalf of the Akwa Ibom State Youth Forum in Oyo State, we extend our heartfelt felicitations to the Akwa Ibom State Government as we celebrate the remarkable journey since the creation of our beloved state on September 23, 1987. This milestone is a testament to the resilience, unity, and progress of the people of Akwa Ibom, and we take pride in our rich cultural heritage and achievements over the years.

As we commemorate this special occasion, we would also like to take the opportunity to bring to your attention the challenges faced by Akwa Ibom indigenes residing in Oyo State. Despite being away from our home state, we remain committed to the growth and development of Akwa Ibom and our contributions to the community here in Oyo State.

However, many of our members encounter difficulties that can be alleviated with the support and recognition of the state government. We appeal for support in the following areas:

1. Social Welfare Programs: Establishing initiatives that can help provide access to basic services, including healthcare and education, for Akwa Ibom indigenes living in Oyo State.

2. Cultural Integration and Empowerment:
Promoting and funding programs that celebrate our culture, heritage, and values to ensure that Akwa Ibom indigenes maintain their identity while contributing positively to their host community.

3. Economic Opportunities:
Creating channels for economic empowerment through skill acquisition programs, grants, or loans for small business owners among the indigenes to thrive in Oyo State.

4. Support Systems:
Setting up a robust communication framework between the Akwa Ibom State Government and Akwa Ibom indigenes in Oyo State to facilitate collaboration and ensure that our voices are heard.

We believe that with your intervention, we can strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and solidarity among the Akwa Ibom people, irrespective of where we reside.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to your favorable response.
