If Mellanby Hall could be handpicked, many Uites would have desired to be a Mellanbite!
In the light of this,the residents of Kenneth Mellanby Hall, University of Ibadan witnessed the prestige, honour, respect and benefit of being a Mellanbite with a scintillating grand dedication and renovation of the premier hall in the premier University.
The current Kenneth Mellanby hall Management Committee and The 69 executive cabinet has raised the standard of living for student with the help of donations received from the family Emeritus Professor Akinkugbe in Kenneth Mellanby Hall.
We are proud to announce to the public that we were able to commission 120 double and single bunks and dedicated the common room to Emeritus Professor Akinkugbe successfully!!! The commission was done by the Vice Chancellor, Deputy chancellors, Dean of Students, The family of Akinkugbe in person of Mr Olumide, Hall Master, Hall Warden, staff advisers, dignitaries,the 69th executive cabinet, Kenneth Mellanby Hall management committee and students at large!
We really appreciate this support and we promised to maintain the renovated facilities and we pledge to sustain the existing pedigrees!!
