Life is predictable. After morning comes afternoon, then evening and finally night. It's been like that for thousands, maybe millions of years. From baby to teenager to adult to old age, predictable I must say. Yet we put in so much efforts and time to change the effects of the cycles. We try hard preparing to live that we miss living itself, instead of living we preparing for hereafter. Suppose we just live right here and now. Let hereafter wait till we get there. Do we need the scriptures to tell us, though shall not kill or love thy neighbor as yourself. You and your neighbors are from the same source. whatever you do to him you do to yourself. Both actions will change the state of the seed but only one is progress. Don't leave your seed of success to rot and die, plant it, nurture it with action, take baby steps. A study shows that only 5 out of 100 people will be financially independent at old age (say 65yrs). Meaning those that can live comfortably on interest/income from their investment. The size of Chinese bamboo seed is like walnut. You plant it, add fertilizer and water it everyday for 5 years before it breaks the soil, then it will grow 90ft in six weeks. If you don't nurture it for a day it will die. Would you say bamboos grows in 6 weeks or 5 years. For the bamboo to support its 90ft height it must grow first into the ground for good foundation. If you are still struggling with that goal and you are looking at the lemon tree in your neighbors compound. it's not the same 🌲. Don't give up. Continue to water your tree. If your patience is tested and you wonder if your efforts will ever be rewarded? Keep at it, don't give up. Read good books, get a mentor. You may have to pick your associate like you pick beans if you want to avoid eating stones with your beans. Learn something new everyday, put in the work and like miracle it will happen. A tiny spider can kill we humans. We are not the fastest runner nor the best swimmer. We can't even fly neither are we as good as monkeys in climbing trees. We are not as strong as an elephant. Physical, we are a sorry site. All that we have is our ability to THINK. Look around you and all the comforts you see are creation of thoughts. While animals adapt to their environments we create our environment. If we remove thinking from a man he is not more than an animal. So why are we not using this gift to its full potential. According to experts, we use between 5% to 10% of our potentials. What percentage are you using sir? Imaging what you can become if you think more. Set aside an hour everyday to think about your goals and don't forget to write it down. It will be hard initially but it will get better.
