I went to the market with my peanuts, feeling like, “Today, I’ll sell everything.” 😂

Only for reality to humble me.

I moved from shop to shop, supermarket to supermarket… “No, thank you.” “We’re not taking new products.” “Come back later.” "We only take Nafdac Certified." Some looked at the price, some looked at the product, and some didn’t even look twice. 😭

And that’s when I realised something: starting a peanut business isn’t just about making a good product. Getting people to buy it is a whole different battle.

Even supermarkets can be tricky for a beginner. You drop your products, wait for them to sell, and your money is sitting there, tied down. Meanwhile, you still need money to produce the next batch.

So yes, I’m learning, adjusting and finding smarter ways to sell.

Because sometimes, the challenge isn’t the peanut. It’s getting the peanut into the right hands. ❤️
