This week we met with the Gemeente Almere and they are really enthusiastic about our idea! And did you know that Almere is part of the Amsterdam Newland promo campaign to get more people to visit the area?

For centuries the people of the Netherlands waged war against the water using dikes, dams and impoldering. The resulting 'new land' is now home to places like Lelystad, Almere and the Oostvaardersplassen.

Yesterday we met the lovely and inspiring team from Ani & Haakien! Definitely one of the coolest hostels in Holland. The hostel is run by two girls that followed their dream to open up a unique hostel where people feel at home. If you're ever around visit them in Rotterdam!

One of our favorite hostels in Europe. River Side Hostel in Gdansk. A super relaxed atmosphere, a well equipped kitchen, books to read, movies to watch and very friendly staff. And they sell really cool T-shirts from a local designer.
