Life is too short to not live in a houseboat for one day, and where better to do it than in A'dam!! The check in was flexible and easy, and the infrastructure was good - the bathroom was so robust, it didn't look like it was a bathroom on a boat at all! Description is spot on. Peter is also very friendly - highly recommend!!!

Peters place was well described, cozy, and close to everything. He was responsive, and check in was easy. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Super cool experience to stay on a canal boat, highly recommend! Thanks Peter!

We had a great stay in Peter's boat. It's located in a quiet area but right in the centre of Amsterdam. Some lovely restaurants close by. The boat is charming and a great place to stay, we really enjoyed it and would love to come back

We enjoyed our stay, for many reasons. Friendly host Great location Quiet location Easy access to move around the city by tram. The accommodation had everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage auf dem Hausboot von Peter. Die Lage war für uns optimal, nicht zu weit ab vom Schuss aber trotzdem ruhig. Wir haben abends wunderbar auf dem Deck gesessen und konnten ein paar vorbeifahrenden Booten zuwinken und uns entspannen. Die Metrostation Waterlooplain ist nur ein paar Steinwürfe entfernt und gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war sauber, da gab es nichts zu bemängeln. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt.

It was lovely to sit out enjoying the quiet and the scenery. Perfect location for us, metro stop close by. Cafe Koosje a short walk away was good for a nightcap

We had a great and very special day on Peter’s boat. It is super cozy and quiet but only a 10 minute walk away from sights, restaurants and public transports. Peter was very friendly and helpful even though we did not meet in person. I hope we can come back one day.

Peter’s place was the perfect spot for us! It’s in a quiet area just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, but close to tram and bus stops (if you have luggage) and everywhere is walkable. We almost missed the Dutch Resistance Museum and ARTIS, which are so close and worth the visit! There’s also the Luther museum and Holocast museum right there and so much more only a 10-15 minute walk away. The space is small. The pictures are accurate and show everything there is to see; the bed is under the ladder and wheel house. There is no sitting area down in the bedroom/kitchen, but the wheelhouse was lovely to drink our coffee or wine and watch the boats go by. You can also sit out on the boat deck!

Thank you! We appreciated the fan to cool down at night, as it was warmer when we were there. The shower and bathroom were great - clean and stocked! We loved sitting up in the wheel house to watch boats go by and prop the doors open for fresh air.
