Sometimes you stumble upon unexpected little gems — like Ascoli Piceno.
We drove there on a whim after hearing about its beautiful piazza and the old Caffè Meletti (I have a thing for these kinds of places). What we found was so much more: a city of travertine and timeless charm, where life moves slowly between grand piazzas, narrow streets, and long coffee breaks.

Here’s a little guide to some of my favorite spots:

☕️ Caffè Meletti – The iconic art nouveau café on Piazza del Popolo.
☕️ Bar Centrale – A local favorite for coffee and people-watching.
🥛 Latteria Marini – Simple, nostalgic, and perfectly Italian.

🍝 Giuseppina – A beautiful spot for a relaxed dinner.
