⭐⭐⭐ This original building lives up to its name; a large blue square designed by Frans van Gool. Behind the blue facade you will find a lovely 3 star hotel.

On one side of the hotel it overlooks the Erasmus Canal, and on the other side you can catch the tram to the city center. XO Hotels Blue Square is located in Amsterdam-West, in the part that is also called Western Garden Cities. Around one corner you will find Plein '40 -'45, with a shopping center and a daily market (Tue-Sat), and around the other corner you can walk to the Sloterplas. Take a stroll, go for a run or rent a boat. There is so much more to see than just the center of Amsterdam!

Our Story

The hotel offers newly renovated rooms. They are equipped with air conditioning, comfortable box spring beds, flat screen tv, safe, free wireless internet and Nespresso machine for coffee and tea. Some of the rooms have a splendid view over the Erasmus canal. In the morning you can enjoy a tasty international buffet breakfast at Blue's Bistro. Just a short walk from the Blue Square Hotel is a shopping center and a marketplace. The Sloterplas Lake is nearby, perfect for sailing and walking. The hotel is 20 minutes with public transport from the city centre, RAI Convention Center and World Trade Center, and a 20-minute taxi ride from airport Schiphol.
