Flowering at Keukenhof parallels that in nature. The crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths and early tulips flower at the start of the season. A two-minute walk from the Amstelzicht, you will seethe Munttoren (mint tower), was once part of the Regulierspoort which consisted of a gate with a tower on each side. It was built between 1480 and 1487 as part of the medieval city wall. Back in the 17th century, the tower was used to mint coins.

Old sagging houses are nothing new in Amsterdam, but the row of centuries-old buildings from Amstel 100 to 112 is very remarkable. The buildings are known as the 'dancing houses'. The dancing houses have been a popular attraction for boat tours for years.
Why they are so-called?
