***JOB + HOUSING OPPORTUNITY***
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, hands-on couple (or one highly-motivated individual) to live-in, manage, & run the whole operations of our 10-room Bed & Breakfast/Hotel in Amsterdam (in collaboration with owner). We are located in the artistic neighborhood of Heesterveld in the district of Amsterdam Zuid-Oost, next to Bullewijk Metro (15 min ride to center). Housing included and separate from salary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- communicate directly with guests
- manage check-ins & check-outs
- clean rooms & common areas
- wash & dry linens
- handle payments of cash & card
- 24hr availability at hotel
- manage social media accounts, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
- hospitality experience a must
- fluent in ENG (NL a plus)
- EU resident (or able to work in NL)
- professional representative
- highly communicative
- organized, efficient, clean, & detail-
oriented

TERMS
- July 1 thru Sept 30, 2021 (3 month contract with possibility to extend)
- €1500/month + housing for the couple
private room, kitchen, bathroom
separate from guest quarters

*wage may increase based on occupancy

Cultivating community & creativity brings color to our world in times of crisis. 🌱🎨💜🏡

Our B&B shares a special space, which celebrates both art and nature; two sources of joy which keep us connected, even during moments of quarantine. These past few weeks have gifted us ample opportunity to give our backyard a spring cleaning. Our neighbors even joined in on our planting party fun (a safe one-garden-box distance apart!) to help us revitalise our lil urban garden. ☀️

BnB ZOH - The Street Art Aparthotel

Heesterveld is the new cultural hotspot of Amsterdam Zuidoost where creative people from the Netherlands and abroad live and work. Where they develop, exhibit and exploit their talents, arts and entrepreneurship.

We are in the Heesterveld creative community with a multicultural and international influence. An environment that inspires and an opportunity to come together, to co-create and innovate. Here you will meet artists, designers, musicians and other creative people. Meet, share ideas, create and push the limits.

Inside, the rooms are decorated with art by our local artist Corkville, including all doors and huge wall prints. The furniture has been hand made using eco-friendly resources such as bamboo and wood. We have also 3d printed all our light fittings. Step outside the hotel and be immersed in all the street art from local to international artists!

The reception is at the side of the apartments where you can check in to receive your own key. This will grant you access to the separate building where the apartments are located. Once you have your key, you can come and go as you please, until you check out before 10.30am.With separate balconies/ outside areas, we are a smoke-friendly hotel, but not inside the building.Breakfast can be enjoyed at our neighbouring café called Oma Ietje, which is open from Mon-Sat from 8.30am. Towards the weekend it opens for a delicious dinner that can be enjoyed with some of Amsterdam’s local beers.
