Relive history in this former timber trade

A property's past and present - blended into one. Until the beginning of this century the monumental building was home to the timber trade family business 'Houthandel van de Vijsel'. Here you’ll find a property’s past and present, blended into one. Floors, walls, ceilings; in the entire hotel the original wood of the construction has been restored and left in sight. The exceptional hotel layout and interior design make it an incomparable place, nowhere else to be found. The luxurious rooms are designed with wooden elements and vintage details from the 19th century. Safe to say that history relives in this 4-star boutique hotel. With the Vondelpark, Leidseplein and the Museum District on short walking distance, this hotel is ideally situated from where to explore the city centre.
