The living quarter provides seating options with superb views across the water and includes a very simple and basic kitchenette, with a hob, fridge, toaster, kettle and a coffee machine, plus a flatscreen TV. Two small bedrooms are on hand for a peaceful night’s sleep, housing two single beds and two double beds in total. The bathroom is fitted out with a tiny and basic toilet which needs to be flushed by the use of a manual pump, a washbasin and simple shower. The houseboat also benefits from free parking and a wonderful deck terrace, which allows you to unwind amidst the picturesque scenery. The neighbouring forest, locally known as the Amsterdamse Bos, is actually one of Europe’s largest city parks, which makes the perfect destination for a stroll, picnic or bike ride. This tranquil sanctuary boasts over 150 types of indigenous trees and 200 species of birds, in addition to a great selection of cafes and restaurants, a luxurious spa, a charming goat farm and several sports facilities.
