As a Front Desk Agent you are responsible for all communication with our guests. We love our guests so we make sure they get the best experience ever. Where normal customer service stops, we take that extra mile to make the guest truly happy. We mean ... really, really happy. We call that 9+! You as a Front Desk Agent play a crucial role in this. Besides the fact that you will do everything you can to assist our guests, there are also administrative tasks. Since we are a small-family hotel, you are independent and you tackle things.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCH A GOOD FRONT DESK AGENT?
Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning room.
Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.

We also ask for the following:
You have a MHS, MBO Tourism or similar education.
You speak and write Dutch and English on a good level.
Work experience at a Front Desk in the hotel industry is a plus.
Open social image, you genuinely enjoy working with people.
