The forecast is clear. A hot and sunny Defqon.1 awaits. With high temperatures expected throughout the weekend, we’d like to share a few important facilities, measures and recommendations to help you stay safe and enjoy Defqon.1 to the fullest.
Available facilities & measures:
• The camping opens at 12:00. We advise you not to arrive too early, as you may end up waiting in the sun before entering.
• Camping visitors may bring unlimited drinking water onto the campsite.
• Free drinking water is available at the bath houses on the campsite and at all festival toilet areas.
• We have maximized all covered chill areas across the festival grounds.
• Free sunscreen will be available at all major toilet areas throughout the festival site (two at the RED, one at the BLUE, and one at the BLACK).
• Several cooling misting systems have been installed across the festival grounds.
• Free outdoor showers are available at campsites 1-6.
What you can do:
• Bring enough sunscreen and apply it multiple times throughout the day. Start before you arrive at Defqon.1.
• Bring a party tent to create shade at your campsite. Haven’t got one? Party Tent Rental is also available in the festival store.
• Take your time to relax between sets, either at your campsite or in one of the chill areas on the festival grounds.
• Eat regularly throughout the weekend. Salty food helps your body retain fluids.
• Drink enough water throughout the day.
• Be mindful with alcohol and other substances, especially in high temperatures.
• Wear a hat or cap and lightweight clothing during the day, while also bringing an extra layer and rain protection for cooler evenings or changing weather conditions.
• Don’t push your limits.
If you feel unwell, visit one of the First Aid locations. These can be found near Campsite 1, the bus entrance, Campsite 5, and next to the RED.
And most importantly: show your Warrior Spirit. Rave responsibly and always look after your fellow Warriors. We are one tribe, and taking care of one another is part of our sacred oath.
