Dear guests,

Following the shocking occurrence of food poisoning in our hotel, which lead to two of our guests being hospitalized, the management of Woody’s Hotel decided to take actions to avoid something like this happening again.

First and most importantly, we made sure that the hospitalized guests received the best medical care possible and are happy to announce that they are recovering very well. Our management team visited them and apologized sincerely for what has happened. The two guests further received a voucher each for a weekend stay at our hotel for two persons.

After closing the kitchen and thoroughly analyzing were the problem was rooted, we found out that the issue originated from meat provided by one of our suppliers. We immediately terminated contracts with this food supplier and will not be working with them again.

To assure that there won’t be any cases like this again in the future, we will investigate all suppliers we are working with, to make sure that their hygiene is up to standards, and that all their produce is fresh and save to consume. Further, we want to make sure that the hygiene in our kitchen is absolutely meticulous, which is why we will arrange hygiene training for all our kitchen staff.

Hygiene and safety regarding food and beverages will from now on be highly prioritized at Woody’s Hotel, and we assure our recent and future guests, that everything provided from our kitchen will be safe to consume and delicious.

We would again like to apologize sincerely to everyone involved and we hope to see you at our hotel soon.

Dear guests,

As you already heard the kitchen in the hotel is closed. We looked for an alternative and we found a food catering company who is coming right now, and they will prepare dinner for you. The company is called Sodexo, the biggest catering service in Holland. We are offering the dinner for free. For the kids we hired an ice cream stand called ijskarretje to comfort and calm them with everything happening in the hotel.

!! ATTENTION !!
Dear guests,
As you might have seen in the media, a terrible incident happened at our hotel. Two of our guest were hospitalized and we are truly sorry. We deeply regret this and we will do everything within our power to make sure that the quest are taking care of in the best possible way and guarantee that this will not happen ever again.

We closed the kitchen immediately and have a press conference scheduled at 8pm to give further information and answer all of the questions you might have.
