Official statement
After visiting the two guests that presented with symptoms of food poisoning in the hospital and talking with their doctors, we started an official investigation into the kitchen with the help and advice of the poison control center. It was found that some of the food was left out of the refrigerator for too long. We want to once again sincerely apologize and prevent this from ever happening again. After receiving the news, we immediately implemented the HACCP method where prevention and reduction of risks is most important. Our staff received immediate training in this method and are now completely certified to serve the food according to every safety measure. Our restaurant will once again re-open on the 15th of June when we are completely confident of serving food to our guests again. Due to the closing of our restaurant for two days (13th June - 15th June) we have received a lot of questions from our customers concerning alternative food options.

Hotel The Wave works with the best restaurants in Dreskovski. We will arrange reservations and recommendations for all our guests to enjoy delicious meals until the issue in our restaurant has been sorted out.

For those of you who have purchased their stay with breakfast or dinner included will get those meals for free at a restaurant nearby.

Nothing is more important than the safety and well-being of all customers. Hotel The Wave is deeply sorry for the food poisoning incidents that took place in our restaurant.

We have always made it our first and foremost priority to serve food of the highest quality to our customers and to provide a fully satisfying dining experience.

Please know that we take all complaints very seriously and that we shall be launching an in-depth investigation of the incident immediately this is why our restaurant will be closed from 13 June 2018 until 15 June 2018.
