🍎 An apple with a story.

In every room at Hotel Mariënhage, you’ll find a little apple. Made from recycled hotel waste, it’s a playful detail with a deeper meaning.

For centuries, the apple has symbolised knowledge, temptation and new beginnings. A fitting detail in a former monastery, where history and contemporary design come together.

And it leaves us with one question…

Who took the first bite: Eve or Steve? 🍎

Hotel Mariënhage is set to join Tribute Portfolio by Marriott, and bring Marriott to Eindhoven for the first time.

Today, Townhouse Hotels and Marriott International announced an agreement to add eight hotels in the Netherlands to Marriott’s portfolio. As part of this agreement, Mariënhage is expected to become “Hotel Mariënhage Eindhoven, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.” It will mark Marriott’s entry into Eindhoven, one of Europe’s leading technology and innovation hubs.

Our home has a long history. Mariënhage is housed in a former monastery in the centre of Eindhoven, a monumental building that has been carefully preserved and repurposed. Its historic architecture now welcomes guests with modern hospitality, keeping a piece of the city’s heritage alive.

Tribute Portfolio is Marriott’s growing collection of characterful independent hotels, celebrating individuality through distinctive design and authentic local connections.
