B&B De Utrechtsche Dom - Guesthouse.

Al tweeëntwintig jaar staat mijn leven in De Utrechtsche Dom in het teken van gastvrijheid: een fantastische periode.

Maar op 1 mei sluit het Guesthouse de deuren. Het is tijd voor nieuwe plannen. De kans daarbij is groot dat De Utrechtsche Dom vanaf einde dit jaar weer reizigers herbergt. Ik ga het zien.

Namens alle medewerkers bedank ik jullie nu hartelijk voor de vele bezoeken aan ons Guesthouse. Ik heb er veel van geleerd.

Already twenty-two years my life in De Utrechtsche Dom is dominated by hospitality: a fantastic period.

But the Guesthouse will close on May the first. It's time for new plans. There is a good chance that De Utrechtsche Dom will be hosting travellers again from the end of this year. I' will see it.

On behalf of all employees, I would like to thank you now for the many visits to our Guesthouse. I learned a lot.

Today we close the door of our Guesthouse for two weeks: time for a short break. We wish you a peaceful New Year's Eve and a healthy 2021. See you then!

Weer open vanaf 2 juni

Na een paar akelig stille weken gaat De Utrechtsche Dom vanaf 2 juni weer open voor gasten. Wij bieden als gebruikelijk logies en ontbijt, maar werken op een nieuwe manier, in een vernieuwd gebouw.

Ons Guesthouse gaat door met 8 kamers in plaats van de twaalf die we tot nu hadden: nog kleinschaliger, met nog minder verkeer van gasten in ons gebouw. Dat is goed voor ieders rust en veiligheid.

Open again from June 2

After a few horribly quiet weeks, De Utrechtsche Dom will reopen for guests from 2 June. As usual, we offer bed and breakfast, but we will work in a new way, in a renovated building.

Our Guesthouse continues with 8 rooms instead of the twelve we had until now: even smaller, with even less traffic from guests in our building. That is good for everyone’s peace and safety.

Geen gasten op de fiets dit paasweekend in coronatijd. Dan maar zelf op de fiets: bloemen rondbrengen naar ouderen, dankzij de actie van de ANBO en Ali B.

No guests on bicycles this Easter weekend in the corona period. Then by bike myself: bringing flowers to the elderly, thanks to the action of the ANBO and Ali B.

Sluiting tot 1 juni

Sinds 23 maart zijn, wegens onze omgang met het coronavirus, alle feestjes, bijeenkomsten en evenementen in Nederland verboden. Dit verbod geldt in ieder geval tot 1 juni.
Omdat De Utrechtsche Dom grotendeels afhankelijk is van gasten uit binnen- en buitenland die juist op zulke dingen afkomen, blijft ook het Guesthouse tot 1 juni gesloten.

Hopelijk levert De Utrechtsche Dom door dit besluit ook een kleine bijdrage aan de vermindering van de verspreiding van het virus.

Closing until June 1

Since March 23, because of our handling of the coronavirus, all parties, gatherings and events are prohibited in the Netherlands. This ban applies in any case until the 1st of June.
Because De Utrechtsche Dom largely depends on guests from the Netherlands and abroad who come to such things, the Guesthouse will also remain closed until June 1.

Hopefully De Utrechtsche Dom supplies by this decision also a small contribution to reducing the spread of the virus.

Tijdelijke sluiting

In verband met de gevolgen van het coronavirus houdt De Utrechtsche Dom voorlopig de deuren gesloten. De sluiting is in ieder geval tot het paasweekeinde, dat begint op vrijdag 10 april.

Temporary closure

Because of the consequences of the corona virus, De Utrechtsche Dom will be closing its doors for the time being. The closure is in any case until the Easter weekend, which starts on Friday April the 10th.
