On August 12, you can witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles: a total solar eclipse.

Choose a location with a clear western horizon, as the eclipse will occur late in the afternoon when the Sun is low in the sky.

Be sure to wear ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses during all partial phases of the eclipse. Only observers within the path of totality can safely remove their eclipse glasses during the brief period of totality.
