A new chapter for Kruisherenhotel Maastricht.

After months of careful restoration, our 15th-century monastery welcomes guests again, now recognised as a Five-Star Superior hotel. The first restored rooms are ready, and Spencer’s is open once more in the heart of the city.

One milestone in a longer story, and the beginning of something we are proud to share.

A familiar face is back at the pass.

Tim Signet joined Kruisherenhotel Maastricht a year ago as Chef de Cuisine and spent much of that time behind the scenes, shaping the menu that now greets guests at Spencer's. A rare gift of time to think, refine and prepare for the reopening.

His cooking follows the seasons closely, with the menu changing as the produce of the region does.

A free walk through Maastricht's monastic past.

The Kloosterwandeling Podwalk takes you past ten former monasteries across four kilometres of the city, with around forty minutes of audio bringing the stories to life along the way.
