The hostel is located just around the corner of Rotterdam Central Station. just drop it at the hostel and let us tell you all about the cool stuff that’s happening in Rotterdam! Our hostel is not located in a busy bar street at Ani&Haakien you will get a good sleep but no worries in walking distance you will find yourself in a bar for sure! On one hand the main attractions and on the other hand the young creative buzzling Central district area with nice coffee places, design shops, rooftop bars, jazz, house & techno nightlife. So they say.. Personality and soul! At Ani & Haakien’s place you will find a living room like home. Furnished with cool ‘old grandma’s’ stuff and recycled materials you will notice every piece of décor has a story to tell. In our guest kitchen, which we consider to be the heart of the hostel, you can cook your own meals and we will ensure you'll have no problem meeting new travel friends for life. Stepping outside you'll find our laid back garden. In summer it is always sunny and you can chill-out in the hammocks after spending your day in the city. We growing our very own vegetable garden so feel free to take some herbs for your dinner! At the reception desk we will make sure you know how to find your way in Rotterdam. Although we can tell you all about the tourist attractions and architecture we like to tell you more about the local hidden places that the city has to offer! And since we like to party our self.. we often have discount deals for good party's or little festivals. The free breakfast is up at 8am until 11am (sometimes even till 12.00) with hot brewed coffee, milk, orange juice, and of course some Dutch delicatessens such as: a Boterham with Pindakaas or Hagelslag. The rooms are basic and clean. On every floor you find showers and toilets. In the room you will find a locker including power outlets so you can lock & load! WHATS GOING ON?
