The City Garden Studio is located in a quiet street of a lively Rotterdam hood and is decked out with a:
- comfortable sofa bed (with extra top mattress)
- kitchenette with 2 cooking plates, sink, Nespresso coffee machine and water cooker
- bath room with shower (which you won't have to share)
- separate toilet (which you won't have to share)
- direct access to the garden (with BBQ and firepi

- lots of books & magazines (mostly in Dutch) & DVDs
- cutlery and vintage china so you can eat in style
- bed linen and towels
- free & fast wifi
- welcome coffee & tea (and probably something sweet too :-))
We can provide a baby cot and high chair too for those travelling with wee ones. OPTIONAL:
- separate kid's room, with junior sofa beds: room is divided with a sliding door and filled with toys, books and a DVDplayer (10€ per night, per kid)
- babysitting (€10 per night)
- parking (only €5 per booked day, much cheaper than downtown!)
- yummy breakfast (€5 per person)
* ABOUT THE HOUSE *
We live in a 4 story townhouse with a big communal garden. The house was originally built in the 1930s, but has been completely renovated 5 years ago. We are big lovers of vintage design, so expect to find a lot of 70s style items in the studio. Our house was featured in several Dutch interior lifestyle magazine, including 101 Woonideeën.
* ABOUT THE GARDEN STUDIO *
From the Studio you have direct access to the garden. We have a big communal garden with a fire pit (and plenty of room to play if you bring kids :-)). We also have a private part in which we have a small wooden play house and a basic BBQ. In summer, the garden is great to relax - we even get some sun in the evening! When you stay over, our family lives on the top 3 floors; the first floor is for guests only. We do share our front door with you, but if you prefer, you can use the back door.
* ABOUT OUR NEIGHBOORHOOD *
We live in a quiet street in lively neighborhood, close to the city centre. There's lots of small shops and convenience stores + a 24/7 shop within walking distance. We have great organic restaurants nearby as well as take away restaurants from all corners of the world; a book with flyers is provided. The famous Van Nelle Fabriek is a 5 minute walk. The beautiful historical Delfshaven area is a 10 minute walk. The Rotterdam Zoo Blijdorp is at a 15 minute walk. The fantastic outdoor playground 'De Speeldernis' is at a 15 minute walk. Also in the neighbourhood:
- a cute petting zoo with cows, sheep, chickens, rabbits & goats
- a public swimming pool

* PLEASE NOTE *
We are a family with two children (4YO & 7YO). Our girls are quiet but young - some singing on the stairs before and after school may occur :-)
Smoking and pets are not allowed in the house (but you can smoke in the garden or in front of the house, where there's a wooden bench to sit on). Checking in: from 4.15 pm (you can drop of your luggage beforehand if you like)
Checking out: at the latest at 11 am. Our place is great for everyone - and it's especially great for parents travelling with wee ones. While your kids discover all toys (LEGO, Playmobil, board games, puzzles, etc) and books (or even DVDs) you can take a relaxing shower or a little nap in the adjacent room. Wanna go out at night? For a romantic meal or to discover the Rotterdam night live? We'll babysit for you if you like. The centre of Rotterdam is closeby - when your kids start crying, we can call you and you'll be home in no time. We would love to meet you and welcome you in our lovely home!
