One of our biggest achievements in 2020 so far… are the positive fire tests (CE - EN 16034) we did on our Firesceen® Temperature EI₂60 and EI₁60 fire curtains at Efectis https://www.efectis.com/nl/, back in April. We are allowed to produce, deliver and install these unique fire door systems with a max. clear opening size of 5 x 4 meters (W x H). Some unique features which make these systems very competitive are the small headbox sizes, no need for a sprinkler system and the fact that we are allowed to mount on flexible wall (Class B) and/or rigid high density wall constructions. EI₁60 classification can be used in storages for hazardous sudstances and is obligated in Belgium. For more information, please contact your local Firescreen®-Partner www.firescreen.com.

Luckily we (www.firescreen.com) have plenty of work! Production is running as normal (conform corona regulations) and we even see an increase in the demand for our Firescreen®-solutions. Thanks to our professional, hardworking, loyal and long-term Partner-network! Of course the present crisis is putting a lot of pressure on some of our Partners. Some more than others. But we all try to stay focused, be flexible and be positive in order to serve our clients well. In Europe (and Brasil) we see some positive trends, in where installations (in limited ways) can continue again after a long lock-down period. And - as mentioned - we are very glad with the recent successful fire test results on our Firescreen® T2 (EI(1/2) 60 fire curtains and Firelock® EW120 roller shutters. Which gives the Partners, local architects and their various end-users even more possibilities. Let’s do it together! Let’s Feel Safe!
