Get your gear ready... ⛷️

❄️OPENING WEDNESDAY 1ST OF JULY ❄️

❄️ Roundhill Ski Area have recently had great week of snowmaking and are all set for opening on Wednesday the 1st of July!

For a start, they will be limited to the beginners area and T1 to just below tower 5. The snowmaking team has been working hard to get them up and running and they will be opening more terrain once they get more natural snow.

⛷️ Due to the limited terrain they will be reducing their All Lifts Passes by 20% during this time

One unexpected part of the Kowhai experience has been Grace. 🐾

What started as a curious little kitten has turned into countless guest photos, stories and messages. While many visitors come for the stargazing, outdoor baths and Mackenzie landscapes, Grace often finds a way to make herself part of their stay too.

We regularly receive photos from guests who have made a new furry friend during their visit, and more than a few reviews mention that they'll miss Grace when they leave.

She may not appear in the booking description, but she has certainly become part of the Kowhai story. ❤️

Evenings at Kowhai 💫

The evenings may be getting shorter, but that just means a longer soak in the tub under the stars ✨

Our night sky is super clear out here, you’ll be able to see the Milky Way! You can admire it from our outdoor tub or from the comfort of the beds here through the skylights in the bedrooms 💤

🥂 Finally Open 🏡

We are so excited to announce that our second cottage is now welcoming first guests and open for bookings.

It was a real push at the end to get it all ready for our first guests - and we are so glad everything fell into place in the end..

The outside area will evolve over time the same as it did with our first cottage as plant establish.

The outside bath will also be available from March.

We can't wait to welcome you at our cottages to just stop and unwind for a bit ✨
