Manuka Backpackers Work for accommodation and food. The Menard family needs help with our 4 hectare country property. We're super friendly, come visit us! So much fun! Come on down!

Welcome to The Menard family! This is not a paid backpacker business. Instead we provide accommodation, breakfast supplies and a vegetarian dinner in exchange for 5 hours unpaid work per day. The work is mainly assorted country chores. The 3 bay garage features a fridge, toaster, electric jug, TV, stereo, DJ lights, keyboard, guitars, drums, video library, Nintendo, N64, Xbox, DVD player, and more

. You can hike up the Ben Ohau Mountain range behind our property and get some amazing views of the surrounding lakes. Cycle some of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail - it's only 2km away. We'll help you experience some of the fun to be had in the region, in exchange for some labour on our land.
