A Shared Commitment to Biodiversity

As a proud member of Relais & Châteaux, Oostwegel Collection joins fellow properties around the world in supporting efforts to protect the critically endangered European eel.

The future of this remarkable species depends on collective action, from habitat restoration and improved water quality to tackling illegal trafficking and reducing pressure on vulnerable populations.

We believe that hospitality and gastronomy have a role to play in protecting the natural world that inspires our cuisine and connects us to our region.

Together with Relais & Châteaux and Chef Mauro Colagreco, we support the call to help safeguard biodiversity for future generations.

Not long until we welcome the first guests back to Kruisherenhotel Maastricht.

The renovation of the rooms, courtyard and cloister garden has been a labour of care. In October, the first ten reimagined rooms will be ready to receive you.

There is a particular pleasure in the last of the terrace days. Warmth still in the stone, softer light, and the sense that the season is asking to be savoured. September on our terraces has its own quiet magnificence.

Come and find your seat.
