A night for the memory books!

Following on from our recent posts where Bilal and Daniel went out here is Bilal's report of that amazing evening where everything just fell in to place 😎

Daniel and myself were out for a spin the other night. We had some action right off the bat but it was slow with a few rising fish with no bites. The hours went by and like someone flipped a switch, the fish started biting real good over most spots we tried.

A total of 19 fish were landed during the whole session, with top fish measuring 156, 142, 130, 122. The majority of the rest were fish around the 110cm mark.

We kept a couple of nice fish for food, and the rest carefully went back.

Bilal & Daniel have been at it again and this time Bilal won the biggest fish of the day with this absolutely cracking 156cm Halibut. Both fish were released after the perfect trophy shots

Huge congrats Daniel, super catch 🔥👏

Daniel went out with our very own Bilal the other day to shoot some content and was rewarded with some great halibut fishing, with this 142cm beast being his first fish of the day 🤩

What do our guides do on their days off 🤩

Bilal & Good friend Mons, hits the water on our Apex Guide boat to test some new areas for future guided trips and it certainly didnt take them long to find some quality fish 💪🎣

Mons Halibut put up one hell of a fight but with some great angling, he soon had her by the boat. A quick trophy shot and measure, then she swims free again 👏👏

The weather has been absolutely perfect this week 😎🎣

Earlier in the week, Kai took this group out in search of Halibut, and the fishing certainly didn’t disappoint. It wasn’t long before the bait fish were located, allowing the team to head straight to some of our prime Halibut grounds. As you can see from the photos, the guests aboard the guide boat enjoyed an incredible day on the water 💪

The Halibut bite is on fire right now 🔥🔥

Bilal took Sverre out on his very first guided Halibut trip, and the fish were hungry. Little did he know what was going to unfold during their evening session 🤩

The first fish Sverre hooked turned out to be an absolute beast of a Halibut, and after a quick measure and a trophy shot, his first-ever Halibut was released back into the ocean. His very first Halibut measured 137cm, so a huge congratulations from all of us at Big Fish Adventure 👏

But it didn’t end there. Later that evening, he went on to beat his PB and managed to land yet another huge Halibut. This time, the fish measured 141cm… and of course, the fish swam free, just how we like it.

At the very end of the evening session, they both managed to hook and play a fish at the same time, both around the 110cm mark. I think you’ll agree that this was one incredible introduction to Halibut fishing 😎
