Thousands Gather in Manila Affirming YWAM’s Legacy as a Guide for The Future 🌏🙌

On September 3-6, the first post-Covid global Youth With A Mission (YWAM) gathering brought together people from more than 110 nationalities serving in 600 locations in more than 120 nations.

This being the most diverse gathering in the movement’s history, YWAM Together (YT2024) challenged 4,500 people in Manila, The Philippines, to remember key principles and to respond to new initiatives.

What a wild week!

4,500 gathered, representing 110 nationalities with over 10 different translations!

We heard about our 60+ year legacy, heard life transforming stories from around the globe, remembered and grieved as a family from the Arusha accident and others we have lost, looked to the future with Bible translation, Africa, Asia and the Globe!

What a time to celebrate the covenants and ARISE with great expectation for the history to come.

As YWAM, we are just getting started, until all have heard 🌎❤️‍🔥

DAY THREE — it’s time to Arise 🌎🔥

As a family, we come together in celebration but also grief and Loss. We took time to remember those who we have lost as a mission. Our island family came, and performed a Haka in honor of Africa and the Nations.

We then looked toward the next generations — GenZ, Gen Alpha and Africa, the youngest continent in the world!

Family, it’s time to ARISE. We’re counting the cost as a mission and moving forward! 🌎

DAY TWO

What a day of reflecting our core history as YWAM 👏🏼We reflected our legacy words, (Waves, Magna Carta, End Bible poverty, Spheres) and heard encouraging words of wisdom for the days ahead.
