The last weeks of summer are here, and Nusfjord is quietly turning towards what comes next. 🍂

Soon, the landscape will take on a new character: crisp autumn days, cosier evenings, and the first opportunities to experience Lofoten beneath the Northern Lights. 🤍

August is one of the most rewarding times to explore the landscape around Nusfjord. 🌿🫐

The blueberries are ripe, cloudberries are still hiding among the bogs, and by the end of the month, lingonberries begin to appear. Along the trails and in the surrounding hills, the first chanterelles and boletes can also be found.

At Restaurant Karoline, the landscape around us also makes its way to the table, with seasonal ingredients gathered from the surrounding nature.
